you applied. now what?

What happens to your application.

A company you applied to uses AgentR. You did not choose us, so the least we owe you is a plain account of what we do with what you sent, and what we never do.

The short version

About the recorded interview.

You will be told before anything is recorded, and you can stop at any point. Here is what is actually captured.

What is recorded

Your camera and audio for the duration of the interview, your answers as a transcript, and scores against the rubric written for that role.

What the camera watches for

Another face in frame, no face at all, a phone or second screen visible, gaze and framing drifting, the tab losing focus. These are notes for a human reviewer. They are advisory and never change your score.

If the role uses AgentR Guard

Some employers require a small macOS app during the interview. It looks for screen-capture tools and windows that hide themselves from capture, which is how invisible answer helpers work. It can pause the interview room until the issue clears.

What it never does.

Common questions.

Will a person actually look at my application?
Yes. Nothing is rejected automatically, at any score. AgentR puts the applications in an order and shows the reasoning. Every decision after that is a person's.
What if my connection drops during the interview?
Your link is not used up when you open it. Close the tab, lose the wifi, come back and carry on. The recording picks up in a new piece rather than being lost.
What if I run out of time on a question?
A question you never reached is not marked as a failure. It counts as inconclusive, and what you actually wrote and said carries the weight instead.
Do I have to install anything?
Only if that employer has turned on AgentR Guard, and you will be told before you start. Otherwise the interview runs in your browser.
Is there any point tailoring my resume for the AI?
Not really. Hidden text aimed at the model is stripped out before scoring, and kept on record. A skill that only appears in a list counts for nothing; what counts is work you can show you did.

Your rights.

The company you applied to is the data controller for your application. AgentR processes it on their behalf. That means requests about your data are strongest when made to them, but we will always help.

  • Access a copy of what we hold about your application.
  • Correction of anything inaccurate.
  • Deletion, subject to the employer's own retention obligations.
  • An explanation of any assessment, including the evidence behind it.
  • A human review of anything a machine contributed to.
